A luxurious self-catering holiday home, offering 4-star luxury holiday accommodation very near the beach in Kommetjie, Cape Town – a beautifully appointed seaside holiday cottage with swimming pool, providing spacious accommodation for up to six, eight or even ten guests.

Longbeach Lodge is less than a minute's drive from wild and wonderful Kommetjie Long Beach, a world famous surfing beach. It is totally charming, luxurious and sophisticated, with romantic beach pool in truly beautiful surroundings, and offers relaxed, comfortable and affordable accommodation in the picturesque Cape Peninsula.

The 4-star self-catering accommodation comprises 3 luxury double bedrooms in the main house, one with bunk beds and the main with an en-suite. a delightful cottage in the garden provides a fourth luxury double bedroom and the TV room has a double sleeper couch for an extra two. There is a family bathroom in the main house and a very characterful and fun ‘Out Of Africa’ outside shower, basin and toilet – like a game lodge - making the accommodation even more comfortable and convenient.

So, up to eight guests would be perfect, and 9 or 10 still fine; plus, there are 2 cots to cater for toddlers, a high chair and a safety net for the pool. Three inside entertaining areas all open to a brilliant and quite enchanting covered outside dining area with a 10-seater table lit by a real candle chandelier and a built-in barbeque. A galley kitchen features state-of the-art marble worktops, plenty of cupboards, washing machine and dishwasher.

A beautiful, tear-shaped “beach” pool sparkles in a totally private and lush sub-tropical garden, with deck chairs and a large sunshade. Even beach chairs and beach umbrella are provided for the beach, to ensure your complete lazy, hazy, surf-side enjoyment. There’s also a burglar alarm, a large double garage and stacks of secure, off – street parking.

Everybody who has stayed here has been thrilled with Longbeach Lodge. It’s less than a minute's drive from wild and wonderful Kommetjie Longbeach, a world famous surfing venue, and also close to a small river that you can walk down to get there – in just 5 minutes. By day it’s a sheltered, restful haven in a beautiful and mellow setting and at night the sea is sometimes so loud it’s as if you’re sleeping in the dunes.
